Overview
The BCS is a ducted fume cupboard manufactured in Coplast. Fume cupboards protect the operator and the surrounding environment by keeping the work chamber under negative pressure relative to the outside: vapours released are captured and exhausted, never returned to the room.
Built from non particle-shedding, chemically resistant materials, it can be installed in controlled areas — which is not the case for every laboratory fume cupboard, since their materials often shed particles incompatible with a cleanroom.
The inclined sash, new to the range, offers markedly greater working comfort than a vertical front: the operator leans less and eye-to-work distance is reduced. The storage cabinet beneath the worktop is also kept under negative pressure.
Installation, commissioning and IQ / OQ / PQ qualification are carried out by our own teams. Our service department covers France and Europe.
